I thought a reservation had processed the changes to time that I entered online but I didn’t verify when I failed to receive an email confirmation. Secondly I did not follow up on setting it up as a direct billing account so that the candidate wouldn't have to pay personally.
The changes didn't happen and the candidate had to pay.
My bad.
Rather then make excuses or put off dealing with it, I reported to my mistaking and steps that I would take to remedy it. And low and behold, the response "No worries Carmen, no harm done."
It definitely pays to accept fault when its rightfully yours rather then making excuses.
